For my upcoming book's final entry, I want to examine the claim that "the gender binary is colonial", which depends a lot on the scholarship of Maria Lugones and Oyèrónkẹ́ Oyěwùmí.

So let's take a closer look at their work, shall we?

This is at the very least a civil violation under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, unlawful entry, unlawful search, entry without a warrant (defective warrant), unlawful seizure, and excessive.

One could argue criminal conspiracy if the kidnapping occured as an inevitable consequence of racist policies.

They're better people than I am. If my kidnapper was drowning I'd throw him a fucking anchor.
Two women trained as first responders were abducted by three ICE agents. One of the agents starts seizing. The other two don’t know what to do. The women jump into action and save the agent’s life, only to be re-handcuffed and processed.

Detained by ICE, two women became first responders during agent’s seizure
The women say they guided agents through the emergency, later raising concerns about medical protocols, weapons safety and accountability.

They remain in a Texas immigration detention center.

The judge that is set to oversee the case has a 90%+ denial rate for asylum claims. www.spokesman.com/stories/2026...

This is so righteous. Acessible and translated flyers in 5 languages
I am deeply impressed that the "Community" writ large has already identified the agent who shot pepper spray into the face of a restrained person today.

Flyers in 5 languages are being shared.

Not for the purpose of attacking him. Fair warning about violence.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

ICE secretly told its officers that any time someone has been ordered removed, ICE can break down their door.

It has been accepted for generations that the only thing which can authorize agents to break into your home is a warrant signed by a judge. No wonder ICE hid this memo!
