No offense, but obsessing over any celebrity is a sign you’re not a serious person.

I know she’s popular and as culturally relevant as anyone can be in our fractured society, but like any interest beyond “oh I liked/didn’t like her album” is the sign you have a deep parasocial relationship.

From what I’ve seen that’s already the majority of protesters.

What we need are young people. The folks out protesting seem like they’re well-experienced at protesting going back to, at least, the Iraq war protests 20+ years ago and some back to Vietnam.
