"dumb bitch juice"

^^^ we need to start having annual #BlueSky awards for phrases - this can go somewhere along with #KavanaughStops
Dude. Yes. Alito and Thomas are of course the standout examples, but all of the Republican justices have tells in their writing and their questioning indicating that they are, to varying degrees, marinating their brains in dumb bitch juice
My theory, fwiw, is that Supreme Court Justices are not immune to Twitter brain poisoning. I suspect all six have horrific information environments and have therefore lost the ability to understand the people who don't agree with them.

Hope @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social and Democratic Leaders like @raskin.house.gov are keeping all the receipts - bc the people who are pepper spraying MoCs should get hauled in for hearings if/when Dems take back the House.

"The most urgent news isn’t the selective history recorded in the redacted Epstein files. It’s what the president is doing with his immense power, here, now, in public, apparently so that [Ghislaine Maxwell] a child sex trafficker won’t tell what she knows." @toddzwillich.bsky.social
The Trump-Epstein Emergency Isn't in the Files
Trump has distorted the political landscape so badly that it's warping the moral intuitions of people and institutions of account.

"Democratic voters have to force their candidates to embrace real, aggressive Supreme Court reform. That means not only coming up with a plan (including, most likely, term limits and court expansion) but being unrestrained in how they talk about these six villains who are destroying our democracy."
Democrats Need to Treat the Supreme Court Like the Villain It Is
The Court is out of control, and we'll never see reform unless we build the case for it. Starting now.

just gold (or is it a goal?) for Democratic admakers for every big college football and NFL games next Fall. Can't top this.
Trump: "When you look at football in the US, soccer -- we seem to never call it that, because we have a little bit of a conflict with another thing that's called football. But when you think about it, shouldn't it really be called football? We have to come up with another name for the NFL stuff."

"The Court’s order reimposing Texas’s racial gerrymander is best explained not by legal principle, but partisan preference and political power. The Republican justices ruled as they did because they want to help their allies."

The MAGA #SCOTUS "showed its ass." @audrelawdamercy.bsky.social
The Supreme Court Wants Republicans to Keep the House In 2026
A federal district court found that Texas Republicans’ redistricting proposal is an illegal racial gerrymander. The conservative justices couldn't care less.

Honestly screw the world cup. DGAF - red states can have it.

I haven't cared about it all that much. And, I rather have all the teams that have #MUFC players crash out early - so the the boys can go on vacation, rejuvenate and get back to Carrington for the PL season.
Monica Crowley claims Trump is "talking to FIFA" about potentially moving the World Cup out of "blue cities," but no decisions have been made

The bottom line for any Democrat who is running for federal offices in 2026 and in 2028 - have a concrete plan to reform and rebalance this MAGA #SCOTUS.

If you want to be POTUS commit to acting on reforming/rebalnacing SCOTUS on Day 1.

If you don't - gtfoh - and don't ask for my money.

NEW: Fortunately, the U.S. escaped the 2025 hurricane season mostly unscathed.

But a major storm will almost certainly hit in the next few years. When it does, the lethal effects of Trump's FEMA assault will be fully exposed.

VA Democrats are on top of it.

Sounds like Mikie Sherrill and NJ Dems are thinking about it. www.politico.com/news/2025/12...

MD, NY, and IL and all other blue states not named CA should be moving heaven and earth to make this happen to save our democracy.

John Roberts calling balls and strikes ... for his team.
#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three democratic appointees, #SCOTUS puts Texas's new House maps back into effect for (and, presumably, through) the 2026 midterms.

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.

My gut tells me INEOS just wants to ride through this season w/ Amorim and bring in Tuchel when he is done with England.

What we are watching now is not sustainable. The data points are piling up fast against Amorim. #mufc
This is just another game where I’m struggling to believe in Amorim succeeding sorry.

Up 1-0 against a relegation level West Ham team at OT, #MUFC shouldn’t need three CB's, extra full back and two defensive midfielders. Bringing on Ugarte instead of Mainoo. 😔

That goal from the Hammers felt inevitable.

Fuck Kavanaugh stops all my homies hate Kavanaugh stops

(for purposes of this post I'm including a federal district judge who just rightly concluded that the Supreme Court's racial profiling order is *not* controlling precedent under the umbrella of 'my homies')

Federal Judge Has No Interest In Taking Brett Kavanaugh’s Racial Profiling Opinion Seriously
The Trump administration cited Kavanaugh’s infamous concurrence to justify its immigration arrests. Judge Beryl Howell was having none of it.

Release the tapes.
Rand Paul tells me that he wants the full video of the Venezuelan boat strike released.

“And I think if the public sees images of people clinging to boat debris and being blown up, I think that there is a chance that finally, the public will get interested enough in this to stop this.”

John Roberts - “the chief justice who helped wreck numerous institutions vital to our democracy – they include fair, non-gerrymandered elections, a sane campaign finance system, the Voting Rights Act’s protections of minority voters, and the bedrock notion that presidents are not above the law.”

Democrats just need to show up more to "engage" the Fox audience. Surely that will mitigate the damages from the propaganda from that toxic political platform.
Fox News' Will Cain: "I’m sure there are very honorable law-abiding upstanding citizens and contributors from the Somali community here in the United States, BUT..."

He goes on to say "we aren’t going to pretend here that all cultures are of equal value or the same."
