Every time there's a breaking story about a celeb's treatment of women, everyone in the book world asks, "Is it finally Walliams?" Well, it finally is.
I know there's countless examples of mutualism between birds and large herbivorous mammals, but this is the first I've heard of a bird specialised in getting stones out of a horse's hoof!
This is my third #BirdOfTheDay photo this week featuring a Great Blue Heron. (They are apparently the Swiss army knife of birds!) Today's theme is #LongLegsAndNeck and around where I live, with the exception of an occasional vagrant snowy egret, the GBH is all I got.

Police shot him, and bystanders kicked him in the head while he was down, thinking he was the terrorist.
