Completely! World Cups are the only moments that the U.S. becomes a bit soccer-minded. They have taken this from me.

Similarly, the Champions League has takes much fun out of club football.

I told my oldest son that I will only watch the World Cup socially. I will not watch anything on my own and I will not initiate watching with others. I do want him to get a real World Cup experience when we are in the Netherlands this Summer, but I really hope we can leave it at 1-2 games.

This article is remarkably thin on factual information on "The Base" and its threat level. Even most "experts" seem to mainly study social media accounts. There are virtually no details on the weapons arsenal of the group (the confiscated weapons seemed fairly standard)... just massive speculation.
