To be clear, Infowars states that the email containing the images was never opened, and it seems that the FBI believes them. The lawyers representing Sandy Hook had someone do an analysis of all documents sent as part of discovery, and that found the images, which necessitated reporting to the FBI.

To provide a little context, Jones accused one of the lawyers quoted in this article, Christopher Mattei, of sending Infowars indecent images of children after some were found in infowars emails disclosed as part of discovery. That's how ridiculous Jones' behaviour was during this case.
