its extremely limited and i think it squandered all of its potential. i was expecting the game to open up in a big way, especially with the biggest enemies and instead you just play it one way. it's fucking boring and aloy is such a shit character.

i bought a gamecube specifically for sunshine and there are bits that are better than mario 64 but then it shoots itself in the foot with the physics and level design

there's a community patch for it now that fixes everything, i really need to give it a go at some point

mario sunshine is broken but not *awful*. it's got good bits but too much of it is objectively rough for it to be a good game.

my spicy pick is always horizon zero dawn but its not the worst game i've played, just the most overrated and disappointing.
