I think it’s now pretty obvious what happened here. The outrage from Pretti’s murder got too great for Dems to ignore. So they all coordinated to state that they were against DHS funding while they organized a set of fake “reforms” that would allow them to quell anger while still passing the budget.

Well, this is why Dems exist. To do exactly this. Their purpose is to neutralize left momentum, establish the limits of what's possible on the left side of the spectrum, and deliver as many concessions to maintain right wing policies as possible.

There isn’t any indication that immigration activity has changed in Minneapolis. In fact, this afternoon, federal immigration agents began staging at Holy Rosary Catholic Church located in East Phillips. This activity is disgraceful and creates an unsafe environment for our neighbors. 1/

Because many people on here are talking about making demands, it might be worth thinking about the goal. Body cameras, unmasking, and making it easier to sue will not reduce the number of people arrested and condemned to jail to die, suffer and/or be deported.

As far as I know, Tom Suozzi here still does not have a primary challenger in his district (NY-3 on Long Island).
