Happy Thanksgiving! Actual DN content is coming very soon, but for now a holiday rooted in fiction deserves nothing less.

Here's a short story about what happened when Massachusetts gave the land back

The very best thing about hosting a podcast is the baked-in excuse to invite people whose work you admire to have a one-hour conversation with you. These were both such interesting interviews!
Proud to see that two of our favorite author interviews each made the NYT Best Non-Fiction list this year!

Well-deserved congratulations to John J. Lennon (The Tragedy of True Crime, OA1210) and Professor Michelle Adams (The Containment, OA 1198)

I am ready to go beyond implication and say after reading the facts here that one of the most recognizable people working in the White House almost certainly had ICE arrest her nephew's mother as a favor to her brother
This article heavily implies that ICE is being used in a custody dispute to help Karoline Leavitt's brother get his son and have the mother locked up in ICE detention
"A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts."

This is fine as a legal argument in formal terms but some questions you might ask yourself in writing a brief is “what are the odds this is the argument that does it” (essentially zero here) and “what are the odds this argument makes the judge or the public mad at me” (much higher!)
Additionally, OpenAI argues its not liable because Raine, by using ChatGPT for self-harm, broke its terms of service

This is nuts.

Yesterday in the Comey hearing, prosecutors *repeatedly* confirmed that the full grand jury never saw or voted on the two-count indictment.

Now they’re claiming the grand jury *did* vote on it.

She's quickly retaliated against and put in "prison jail" - sitting in a room monitoring inmate calls and emails.
Comes across comms from Ghislaine Maxwell and says fuck this.
There are so many people working in so many places who are quietly watching this corruption cross their desks daily, but so few willing to do what prison nurse Noella Turnage just did by sharing the receipts and accepting the consequences. What an absolute hero

This just keeps happening that when a wealth tax is introduced, 1, the rich don't actually move out and 2, they are hoarding more wealth than people know. Tax the rich.

Of the many things that Trump--or really any president in history--ever could have been impeached for, I am starting to allow myself to believe that this attempted DOJ/FBI coverup has been so obvious, so corrupt, and about something *so universally toxic* that it could actually go to conviction
1/ THE EPSTEIN IMPEACHMENT

The Trump admin's *known* efforts to obstruct the release of information & evidence connecting the sitting president to the most notorious sex trafficker in modern history are as impeachable as anything a president has ever done.

Some drafting suggestions:

For folks asking if it's true an ICE agent was shot: no, that is a verifiably false rumor. No injuries. A lot else remains in question.
