Multiple states are advancing a new generation of bills that would extend anti-trans bathroom bans into private businesses for the first time. The first clear sign came this year in Kansas.

This is all elementary Marxism. I don’t hate (most) technology, I just hate the bosses who control it. You’re never, ever going to get a good result even with a good technology as long as the capitalist elites own and control the production and use of that technology. Seize the means or we’re fucked

Meet this moment? You can’t even properly echo our demand to ABOLISH ICE and DHS!
We need to rein in ICE and CBP.

We need to call out the avalanche of lies.

And most importantly, we need to stand up for our communities—because they are being terrorized by their own government.

The American people are demanding Congress meet this moment.

Epstein died 7 years ago. Most of the emails that we're seeing are more than a decade old and connect to what we're experiencing today. You should consider what the current Epsteins are doing--others have likely filled the vacuum and replaced him--and the kinds of emails that they're sending now.

These people get into power for a reason. They're not just lone extremist voices. They embody and represent the larger system.

The Obama presidency was one of the most radicalizing things in modern politics because it proved how fake everything was and showed how much we had been lied to. Few people saw through the bullshit before the election and those that did were dismissed as being overly cynical.
This is the most lib post I’ll make for a while- but I remember Jesse Jackson crying in the crowd when Obama made his victory speech so vividly and I remember thinking “he was on the balcony when Martin Luther King died” and it making me cry and I wish very much the hope of that moment had continued

Not sure how you plan to accomplish that in a two-party system where the other side is guaranteed to get back into power at some point. And if you're proposing a one-party system instead, isn't that what Trump is effectively trying to impose? Yes, you elected Joe Biden, and look at what happened.
People need to understand that we CANNOT elect another Republican president. That means that we nominate and vote for someone who can WIN. Everything else is just posturing and self-destructive. Joe Biden wasn’t my choice in 2020 but he got my vote because he wasn’t Trump.

Liberals refused to draw the line at genocide.

Conservatives refuse to draw the line at rape and pedophilia.

And the vast majority of people claim that they don't understand how we got here and why things are so bad.

Philosophically speaking, punching even a single Nazi would accomplish more than every vote you cast throughout your entire life. So why is everyone constantly talking about the next election?
February 17, 2026 at 4:53 AM
Do you know why the kid in the brown hoodie punching the pro-ICE guy instantly became something to celebrate? Because it almost never happens. It's a single act of tangible resistance that the vast majority of people wouldn't engage in, because they fear consequences and power.

Voting in a rigged system captured by capital isn't going to change anything, but it's very revealing that the folks who are the most vocal about their dedication to "democracy" always demand that you support whoever they anoint and say that you must settle for the opposite of what you actually want

Here, we see the liberal in its natural habitat, defending horrible politicians while emphasizing the centrality of performative gestures that do little to affect policy. While they posture as being strategic, their minds are so captured by electoralism that they scarce realize their own ignorance.
