You too!

The idea is everyone gets a draft a week beforehand and we ask questions or suggest things. The paper author only talks in answer and for five minutes at the beginning to explain their aims. If people are kind it’s great.

Fair comment. Have a great year.

Toni Erskine runs a cross-institutional, cross-disciplinary, and cross-tradition (analytics & continentals together) reading group for us to present work in progress. It’s been great for my research and is often a lot of fun - are there some European buddies where the time zones might work?

Have a great year.

Pseudo liberals. Tune them out.

They would all be fascist too.

this is the most inclusive and risk free option. A full royal commission into antisemitism will become a post-truth mess that dishonours the victims. if we’re worried the public service will cover up its flaws, welcome to reality. Demand the Richardson review be thorough and transparent.

This neurovirus surge in the north east is no joke folks. My whole family has been hit and have been in and out of the emergency room. The yale hospital here is totally booked out. The nurses said it’s the worst thing they’ve seen since COVID.
