This is the way. Kudos to MIT for taking the lead on resistance to extortion. Hopefully, the other 8 schools who received the "invitation" will follow suit.

MIT is the first institution to reject a proposal by the Trump administration that would trade preferential treatment on federal funding in exchange for far-reaching changes.

It would be so nice if government officials relied on actual data to make claims. Immigrants, undocumented or otherwise, don't take other people's resources. And they do jobs Americans don't want to do. But that doesn't fit the necessary narrative that pits marginalized groups against each other.

One of the worst consequences of an administration that disregards all rules of accountability is that nothing its says can be trusted.

DHS said an officer was “seriously injured” by an undocumented immigrant who hit and dragged him with his car. Video indicates the officer suffered minor injuries he dismissed as “nothing major.”
