We all agree that these "dubs" suck.
But once again, that's not the core problem here. The quality will inevitably improve, though I personally doubt to the quality of a dub made by actual humans who care.
The problem is that these exist AT ALL. They're an offense to art, and always will be.

Welp, a second AI dub on Amazon has apparently been found, and it's a show that already had a perfectly normal (albeit non-union) dub: No Game No Life.

We even credited everyone who worked on localization - yes, including temporarily trade show localization that didn’t ship in the final game. Crediting people is super cool and very legal you should do it too!
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

New Valve hardware finally announced and I think it looks amazing. The new headset feels like it could possibly replace the Quest 3 - more powerful and no Facebook account needed. The GabeCube is just a gorgeous little box that seems reasonably powered.

It really troubles me that after this conversation Cohh still went on to stream the game anyway. If we're only dismissing AI slop when the game is bad but ignoring it when the game is good, what are we even doing?
The amount of people in the comment section who just dont care about ai voices or are making exceptions for them in X game they want to play makes me worried for the state of the industry.

I feel for voice actors facing this stuff in contracts, and I wonder if any of them got paid "more" for their voice acting work to just be used in perpetuity after training a text-to-speech program, it can't also be the same quality
