The Supreme Court is so illegitimate that cases are often about fictional matters with plaintiffs who have been harmed in no way, now to the point where they are not aware that they are plaintiffs in a Supreme Court case.

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;

The only question I have is whether the idea was figuring the day one firing headline lasts longer (by design). Or the firing crew got feral and the political people come in and say this will hurt us (knock it the fuck off). Either way same basic reality. They don’t have the firing flex they claim.

Not sure why this one is such a shock to me. It’s unclear from the report whether she’d been ill. If she was I didn’t know it. For me, I think, it’s that Keaton was so alive, exuberant, so crackling with energy even fairly far into old age that it somehow doesn’t seem to fit. So many iconic roles.
