I am very concerned that if Trump does manage to get elected for a third time there won’t be enough of his supporters left in jail to form a government.
Missed it. Read a lot.
I had to look up that idiom myself, Eric. No context as the quoted post has since been deleted. So I shall refrain from making any dead as a parrot reference (although I think I just did) and can assume you are well and enjoying Thanksgiving over, well, if anything, a sick (or dead) turkey.

Probably not.
I just discovered there's a pile of #MontyPython merch on Amazon while checking this out. I hope it's all licensed. That door mat with the Knights Of Ni. 😂💙

‘Medicare for All’ still big. “In a survey of 1,207 likely voters [from] Nov. 14–17, 2025, ...65% of voters [supported] a Medicare for All system, described as a ‘national health insurance program... that would cover [everyone] & replace... private health insurance...’" jacobin.com/2025/11/medi...
Medicare for All Disappeared. Its Popularity Didn’t.
The demand for Medicare for All went from the center of the discourse to political exile in record time. But the policy's popularity never faded. A new poll finds strong majority support for the neglected idea among Americans across the political spectrum.

So sorry Scott.
I’ve been completely overwhelmed by all the messages in the last 24 hours. I will take time to read them all, but I will.

While the right lose their goddamn minds about a lone wolf doing something horrendous in DC today, let’s not forget that last week in the White House they all gushed over a genocidal, journalist murdering tyrant whose country financed 9/11.

A rather special item just landed on my doorstep.

@ericidle.bsky.social own personal copy of Rutland Times, owned by Eric for the last 49 years, which will now become a treasured part of my own collection.

Huge thanks to Eric for providing me with a tangible link to his incredible history.

We’re living through crazy times - it’s getting to the point where you can’t even go to an Al Jardine show with Eric Idle without being dragged up on stage to sing “Barbara Ann”!

Jesus wept.
For example; "But maybe more than two words next time, so it doesn't look dismissive?" can appear insultingly, belittlingly condescending. I'm sure that's not your intention, but it does read like that.

Just something to think about.

Sometimes life can be unexpected. I didn’t expect to be on stage at El Cerrito last night singing Beach boys songs with Al Jardine and Weird Al! Great fun though.

Al Jardine is on at El Cerrito tonight and tomorrow
I’m going! One of the greats with a wonderful band.

Fantastic Ding Dong at Alex Jules last night. We sang till 2. A great crowd joined me, Micky Dolenz’, Emeen, Erik and his daughter Miranda and some really great musicians new to me. Superb players. The Canyon rocked! We played for hours. Yay!

Olivia Harrison: “Pretty much. We felt it in our hearts from before we met. Even on the phone, we seemed to have some understanding, like you do when you meet the right person. And he was a charmer, such a charmer!”

Wait till you have Professor Brian after you. He uses the word problematic… it is an oblated spheroid. But try using that in a song. @professorbriancox.bsky.social
People were arguing in my mentions today about whether the Earth is "round" when it's technically an irregular oblate spheroid and look "round" doesn't mean "absolutely perfect sphere" it means round. A soccer ball is round, a cantaloupe is round, a fluffy borb in winter is round, just go with it.

I hate the way Apple Music just goes ahead and adds songs to your favorite playlists. This drives me nuts. Is there anyway to stop the bastards doing this?
