Big online retailers have been known to raise prices for the month preceding Black Friday, then drop them back to normal day-of and mark it as a discount.

So frankly, I'd skip the box store and megacorp deals.

Been saying we need a government run payments processor since it would be bound by code and constitutional restraints. Which payment processors aren't. They couldn't necessarily stop payments at will based on "corporate values" and even if they did, there would be redress through the courts.
