Exactly right. THPS4, to me, always felt like an experiment to get to THUG. It’s very segmented and interrupts you constantly due to how it’s pieced together. The new take on it flows better imo and feels like classic Pro Skater.

Bubsy II is most assuredly not fine. The original Bubsy absolutely is a solid little game but Bubsy II is a horrendous train wreck made by different devs. The Jag game is also horrible. 😅

It’s an interesting era on paper but in terms of actual playability it was pretty lousy. Extremely low performance and poor controls really held it back. Even OG Game Boy games are significantly smoother. I always wished these talents had been paired with different hardware.
