Hey so I'm not keeping a spreadsheet or anything & I recognize that we aren't all going to be able to boycott EVERY corporation, but my focus currently is specifically seeking out whether a place I give my money is scaling back or getting rid of DEI initiatives.

It's kinda funny that he changed his name when he did bc Role Model sounds like a rapper but now he's singing country (I use that term loosely) music and Tucker Pillsbury actually sounds like a kid trying to make it in Nashville.

There are a tremendous number of ICE watchers out in Rogers Park this afternoon after some early morning abductions.

People are guarding churches and patrolling alleyways. Ran into Alderperson Hadden. First timers tell us they're primed and ready to use their whistles.

Every day at noon, no matter how busy, Johny Merida Aguilar left his construction job and hurried to his 5-year-old son's school to feed him. His son has brain cancer and generally only accepts food from his father.

Merida Aguilar was arrested by ICE in September and faces deportation to Bolivia.
He was caring for his 5-year-old son with brain cancer. Then he was detained by ICE.
A court has temporarily blocked Johny Merida Aguilar's deportation to Bolivia.

If you haven't watched Wayward yet, you should. Mae Martin, Toni Collette and the teen actors are fantastic. It's slightly genre defying: it's a mystery/thriller/drama with levity.

Really love what Mae has to say about raising teens (as both parents AND a community).

I have seen shocking footage of thousands of people in Chicago fleeing what I assume are horrible crime-doers, or as the lib media is falsely describing it “The Chicago Marathon.” It is a war zone here, folks, and people were running so fast from the crime-people that others were cheering for them!

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
