A lot of people think editorial leadership and senior editors are instructed to chase traffic leading to wildly poor frameworks for analysis and journalism. But there are plenty of editorial leaders who just have an instinct for using bad frameworks like this to chase attention

Both of my flights in the last few days have been delayed - thanks to the #shutdown. I don’t blame the workers for this. I’m looking squarely at Congress and the administration. And this isn’t even the worst part about the shutdown.

I have watched the whole thing, and it is obvious from the beginning that Ezra is lost and can’t think outside of his narrow political view. He lacks an understanding of what PEOPLE need, not just the political machine. Completely ahistorical in his approach.
