Senate Democrats should offer an amendment to the SAVE act applying the same registration and id provisions to buying beer
Rep. Brian Steil: "I flew home to my home state of Wisconsin, went to buy a 6 pack a beer, the clerk asked for my ID, confirmed it, and then I was allowed to buy the beer. I just think it's nuts that we protect our beer more than our ballots."

Regarding the replies to Aaron’s post

I’ve been involved in voting litigation for over two decades. At the beginning this id argument was widely accepted. Now people push back. It’s been a long road to get here, but here we are

Now graph tributes given by businesses to their countries’ leaders to beg and bribe for a tariff exemption. I bet we lead the world there!
I mean we talk about global trade moving on without the US all the time, but man.

Just take a look at this and remember, Pam Bondi's concern here was not with any of the victims of these crimes but with the nosy Democrats who actually gave a shit about them.

Do you have a passport? Over half of Americans don't.

Do you have a birth certificate and photo ID with the same last name? Nearly 70 million married women don't.

If you answered no to both, you would not be able to vote under the SAVE Act. This is voter suppression, not protection.
Rep. McGovern on the SAVE Act: "I have news for Republicans, Americans don't want to be saved by you, they don't want you screwing up the next elections... Republicans have looked to find fraud, and you know what they found? Someone is more likely to get struck by lightning than to vote illegally"
