Finally uploaded a bunch of the art I've done to my cloud storage instead of just on my phone, so I'm gonna share the four good ones of Grimmshadow because I am still obsessed with my own OC to the point of planning like a 12 book series with him.

I am unhinged.

When Howard Dean was the Democratic frontrunner for President, he was disqualified, by the media, for yelling "Yeah!" once.

At some point we just have to admit that mainstream media sources are biased.
Remember in 2000 when Al Gore was repeatedly misquoted as having said he invented the internet and that was seen the eyes of many as disqualifying him from office? Simpler times. Today, Trump makes up lies equivalent to "I invented the internet" 30 times a week and no one bats an eye. Good job media

That's actually one of the things I find creepiest about the rural west. It's *so* *white*. In Virginia and North Carolina I had Black and Latino neighbors. The west is super segregated in a way I find really off-putting.
Like most of the rural south my neighborhood was way more racially integrated than the rural north - I always had Black neighbors in the south. But you had to watch the whites real careful.

please mask up in shared air, too. the current vaccines only protect kids about 40%, at peak efficacy, from #LongCovid, which is why it’s now the most common childhood disease (even over asthma).

I remember Dawning Realization Month for the NFT people too. Think this is going to take much longer because of how wrapped up the whole economy is in this, but it really feels like it's happening.
Anecdotally on twitter seeing a big shift the last few days from every AI slop account saying every other creative field is “over” and they’re in control now to now posting about how nobody likes them and it’s not fair and they’ll persevere and real artists respect and uplift eachother

the entire premise of the modern social order is that smart, talented, and creative people are a dime a dozen — and, usually, more trouble than they're worth — but a sex pest or serial rapist is a special kind of person, the protagonist of reality, an elite member of an elite club
I'm flummoxed by the underground movement to rehab cancelled figures. There's a rumor that a studio head is planning to begin bringing cancelled people back. It's bananas. The industry has contracted, leaving writers, directors and actors scrambling for work and we're making space for sex criminals?

But what the actual fuck?
On “The Necessary Conversation” podcast, Chad’s Trump supporter parents tell him the military should follow Trump’s illegal orders and kill everyone in LA if Trump commanded it — even with him and his sister in the city😳

I remember back around the She-ra finale the creators did a q&a live stream and some people seriously tried to cancel them cause during it a cis dude writer said dyke *while reading the name of some org or nonprofit that literally had the word in their name*.

tbf I think the fact that execs and managers are infinitely less accountable in the immediate because they've built insane amounts of institutional trust to get to where they are explains this.

It's not that frontline staff can't use AI, its that if THEY do it and it fucks up, they'll get fired lol
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.
