Amazon has had many opportunities to create dubbing projects filled with authentic storytelling, emotional connection, and believability. Instead they have chosen to create AI slop dubs of Banana Fish, Vinland Saga, and No Game No life. Many are calling these dubs "insulting" and "disrespectful".

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.

Some episodes of The Scooby Doo Show have surprisingly nice animation to be from 1970s Hanna Barbera & I’ve always been kinda fascinated by it & how weirdly loose it is. Especially the eps that were paired with Laff-A-Lympucs. Its like they got the entirety of HB’s 1970s ABC Saturday morning budget
