I told people from the beginning this was the story we were going to tell. If they were waiting for something different they would wait forever.

This was the story. And we got to tell it. And we got to end it the way we wanted.

Even if the rest of the Ultimate Universe had kept going, Ultimate X-Men would most likely have wrapped up on issue 24. Of course, that is ultimately not our choice, as Marvel makes those decisions, but if it had kept going it most likely would have been with a different creative team.

It would be fine. But I know the one thing Peach wants the most right now is a break! Doing a monthly comic takes a lot of energy for her!

Marvel was so awesome to us. Didn't force us to have crossovers or interact with the rest of the Ultimate Universe. Peach had a distinct plan and vision, and we got to deliver on that.

I hope they eventually collect the whole series in a single trade. That will be Ultimate X-Men as intended.

I see people sad about the ending of Ultimate X-Men, and I am too. I'll miss these characters. But I am also glad about it. This isn't something that was done to us. The plan from the beginning was to tell a complete story in two years. We got to end on our own terms, which is rare nowadays.

Yep. Unfortunately, misinformation is the order of the day on either side of the political spectrum.

I also did not know and just found out the Berlin Wall was officially called the Anti-Fascist Protection Wall by East Germany.

"antifa" is derived from the German "die [the] Antifa," short for "die antifaschistische Aktion" [the antifascist action]. Yes, there's no big organizational structure, but the talking point that it's just a synonym for "anti-fascism" is not true: there are concrete Antifa groups using the same logo

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I would be very excited for a new TRON film, if it was not staring that asshole.

I don't even care about what he is like as a person. He annoys me every time he is onscreen.
