i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.

the truth is before gAI we've been using AI scripts to automate repetitive or inefficient tasks just fine for decades, gAI makes those same tasks absolutely impossible or dangerous to do. it basically rendered decades of technology unusable. and it kills the planet and ruins economies as it does it.

i'll be on the streets tmrw.
it's snowing outside.
my ESA dog & only family died a few days ago.
i can't live in a car sans title (takes at least 8 wks to arrive).
i have no delusions that i'll be able to raise enough to pay for an indoor stay thru Dec by 12/5.
but if you can help, i'd be thankful.

This is something I and my fellow hyper literate types have a really hard time grasping. It’s frustrating to think you’re being really clear in writing, but still get wildly misunderstood because you’ve overestimated people’s literacy level.

People don't understand what is meant by "literacy" and the "literacy crisis".
Literacy isn't just not being able to physically read. Many people know how to see words and say words, which is basic reading. Literacy is being able to infer the correct information from what you read.
