Please understand that all your favorite million-dollar IPs were created by artists that get nothing more than a typical company paycheck. They don’t get royalties on the sales and oft aren’t even rewarded with bonuses or anything for creating such a valuable brand.

it annoys me when people make "Silent Hill-esque" music on youtube and it's all just like. ambient music to study to-type stuff
like sure SH has *some* ambient music, but it's a completely different vibe...plus there's a ton of industrial stuff and Portishead-like music etc
