BY THE WAY

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.

Quick reminder to all who use crowdfunding that Kickstarter explicitly forbids claiming you're going to donate a portion of funds collected to charity. It's enough to get your whole project taken down.

Just sayin'.
I lost a lot of stuff back in '22 when my hard drive crashed but definitely one of the biggest hits to my soul was realizing that I'd lost the entire rig I'd done for SCP-3086. I worked so hard on that 😭 Saul Szyslak forgive me
nah I'm just not speeding it up enough for the result to sound too fast. if you pay close attention you can tell that trish talks a bit faster than mms does tho

Spooky bird stories. Last year's Halloween comic.
the main thing I've picked up from my comment section is that apparently NOBODY has ever had the idea of "record your voice and speed it up slightly to make it sound like a different character" before. how the hell am I the first one to do that. that can't be true

moomin gets stereotyped as cozy pseudo-ghibli fantasy, but much like ghibli itself it's something born from hardship, what with it starting publication at the tail end of WW2 by a queer author who kept her bisexuality a secret to the public, and the earliest books being blatant post-war allegories
you have a right to be angry

"I think Tolkien intended Bombadil to represent [x,y,z], actually"

John R. R. Tolkien, popping out of a nearby trash can: "yeah, basically. thanks for reading"
being into SCP is crazy because a regular occurrence is for you to be sitting on a park bench talking about a work of fiction that changed your entire life and opened your eyes to a whole new world and then the author of that work will walk out of a nearby bush and say "glad you liked it man"

Chicot is one of those fun jokers where he's literally one hundred percent useless in like 75% of scenarios and then kinda helpful in 23% of scenarios and then in like 2% of scenarios if you have him you turn into a God-King
hey boss could you double-check that you sent out my check? I been pushing the gay agenda in a bunch of my videos and I still haven't gotten my $420 yet
"Bedloe [...] you're mean, conniving, relentless, sneaky, hard-hearted, underhanded and unscrupulous. In other words, you are a first-class fink."

"Well, thank you, Chief. It's nice to know that I'm appreciated."

best trope is when there's two villains who are both horrible bastards and they compliment each other by being like "oh what a horrible bastard you are"

I think there's a difference between to "fuck with" something meaning, like, to vibe with that thing, to approve of or agree with it; vs to "fuck with" something meaning to mess something up

"I fuck with your style" = "I like your style" (good)
"I fucked with the TV" = "I messed up the TV" (bad)
oh god they're slowly lifting jacob geller out of this plane of reality. someone attach a reality anchor to him quick before he ascends

This kinda describes me to a T, there's so many times I've gotten into something, wanted to make it work SO bad, but that gnawing fear that if something goes wrong, it's not just the project that failed, I failed as a person

It's hard untangling that, but I'm trying ❤️
Found this on the AO3 subreddit, and I'm about to let it change my whole life (or at least work really hard to internalize it wrt my writing).
