Pardoning your co-conspirators to own the libs!

Most of their charges are state charges, so this doesn’t actually help them. It’s gross, but it doesn’t really move the needle.

Even though it’s true Republicans are in court demanding that American children go hungry, it’s unfair to not point out that the reason Republicans are doing that is to make sure American families also lose their health care coverage.

I still think this is roughly what has happened in this last month or so.

There is still real reticence on the court to damaging him politically—but to that end, if his political standing erodes independently (which it is), they’re less likely to try to salvage his position in some way.
He’s been talking about this scotus case a lot and seems to think he’s going to lose. I think someone sympathetic to him, with knowledge of the court’s thinking, recently told him he’s likely to lose, probably foolishly thinking he’d back down or try to save face.
Trump is pissed about an ad that Canada recently ran in the U.S. showing Ronald Reagan talking about tariffs in 1987.

“Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED.”

Erie County, PA, voted overwhelmingly for a Democrat. Virginia's Democratic candidate defeated a 36-year incumbent Republican. Even in Mississippi, Dems broke the supermajority in the state Senate, flipping three seats after 13 years.

All of this, too. The way that so many of the same Democrats that called for him to resign the governorship lined up behind him against Mamdani, even after the primary, should never be forgotten, nor forgiven.

The test was administered, and you all failed.
it's been a really bad long shitty time for people who care about victims of rape and sexual abuse, and those who've suffered it. drubbing someone who perpetrated it gleefully and believed he was entitled to power despite it is part of this.

I've been wondering about this for a bit. You take a bunch of 70/30 or 60/40 districts, dilute them to 52/48 or something, and then see a 3 point shift in the electorate, and suddenly you're losing everything.

We have to fix the gerrymandering, but the gerrymandering might give us the chance, too.

"do you recognize that sandwich."

ahaha i can't
Defense is now questioning Lairmore on cross-examination. They show a video still of the sandwich and wrapper on the ground, post-throw.

"Do you recognize that sandwich?" the attorney asks.

Lairmore won't confirm.

"I did not go back to collect it," he says.

It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.
