The Washington Post endorsed Pam Bondi. What an absolute colossal embarrassment.

Never ever forget this is how Tom Cotton characterized the murder of two men clinging to a wreckage on the high seas. He is an evil man without morals.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), to reporters, after viewing video footage of the U.S. strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean on Sept. 2:

"Righteous strikes." "Entirely lawful."

I've watched this 10 times and can't get enough. In this monkey's opinion, Nick is destined for great things.

First half of September 2 boat video -- public. Second half of same video -- top secret.

I normally wouldn't believe this because there seems no logical distinction but the Secretary of Defense seems like a straight shooter.

Scalise is not a serious person. I mean the stupidity of this is breathtaking.
Scalise on GOP healthcare plan: "Car insurance or your homeowners insurance - you turn on the TV, there are commercials w/ lizards & all kinds of other animals that are selling you options to get lower insurance. You don't really have that in health insurance. So we want to open up the marketplace"

After a few years of seeing this current President in office I will say that he leaves to be desired.

"You'll have to ask the school about that." He is actually trying to blame Brown for the failure to find the shooter. As if Brown is spearheading the manhunt. Just not a fan, you guys.
Q: Has Kash Patel told you why it's been so difficult for the FBI to identify who the shooter is?

TRUMP: It's always difficult. So far we're done a very good job of it with Charlie, with the various times this has happened. You'll have to ask the school about that.

Find a definition of "military" that fits this description and I'll eat my tail.
Trump on the boats he's blowing up in the Caribbean: "These are a direct military threat to the United States of America. They're trying to drug out our country."

Is "you always need steel" getting the play it deserves here?
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

Ah, the ol' they weren't in the water they were sitting on the wreckage defense to murder.
What Senator Cotton says here would be a bad defense for the Germans convicted in WWI and WWII war crimes trials -- including for firing on shipwrecked in fully operational lifeboats.

This line of response hurts the US and US servicemembers. It will cause long-term damage unless we get this right.
WELKER: Lawmakers say the 2 men appeared to raise their arms potentially to surrender. Why did Admiral Bradley interpret these actions as anything other than them trying to survive?

TOM COTTON: They were sitting or standing on top of a capsized boat. They weren't floating helplessly in the water

The six conservative justices are simply not following the law anymore. It's an embarrassment to all of us who practice law.

"Stay in the fight" = trying to stay alive.

Make no mistake. Tom Cotton is condoning murder.

Yes, when someone tells you who they are believe them.
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."

If Behn winds up 15 points or so ahead of where Kamala finished in TN-7, I wonder if the new GOP gerrymandered districts, which have to be less GOP heavy than the previous ones, will colossally backfire on them.

Hundreds of Millions. Literally every person in this country would have snorted that sweet Caribbean coke and died.

Ay Yo, Mr. Simon. That one stung.

Yep no murders in DC. Everyone knows this is true.
Trump: "Washington now is, uh, no murders. It's been a miracle."

There are 133 million housing units in the U.S. It is estimated that 3 million are owned by undocumented workers.
JD Vance: "Why did homes get so unaffordable? Because we had 20 million illegal aliens in this country taking homes that ought by right go to American citizens."

Translation: Pete may well go down for this. But I’m not going with him.
Reporter: If there were a second strike that killed wounded people, would that be legal?

Trump: I don’t know that happened and Pete said he did not even know what people were talking about. I wouldn’t have wanted a second strike. The first strike was very lethal. It was fine.

As far as I can tell, the only court to address whether "narcoterrorists" could be considered in an "armed conflict" with the U.S. has rejected that argument.
