I think what drives me nuts is people's reactions are "wow, that DOES look like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt and there's no bizarre 3rd arms appearing out of nowhere!" and equate that as apparently good enough. We've had deepfake shit for a decade now.

highly doubt any of this is true for the record. they said the same thing about UK and Australian age verification and i know people in their forties who discord couldn't infer were of age. don't buy it
