Our office is on site as the situation continues to evolve. There is a visible ICE presence, but we continue to be told this not a widespread immigration raid. We are working with community and government partners to monitor and ensure any action remains within the scope of a valid warrant.

Processing feelings in a healthy way is a critical part of mourning. All that this does is ensure that, for a monthly fee, one will never have to fully face the reality of grief and loss. Instead, a simulacra of a loved one will pretend to be them so they don't have to face the hurt. Deeply harmful.

Second Sunday at my internship site. It was the first time I've helped with the whole service, also the first time wearing my alb in front of the congregation. It was amazing, but I took a 3 hour nap afterwards.
In two weeks, I get to preach there for the first time 😱
