"Laughtivism" is very successful in undermining autocrats. It was used by Otpor! in the Serbian Revolution, and then by revolutionaries in the Arab Spring. Making fascists look ridiculous weakens them and is also a powerful recruiting tool. Keep it up.

Change is only gonna happen if we have protests across all of society and I hope folks can stop this weird gatekeeping behaviour.

Under fascism, folks should keep their focus on fascists. Protest can take many forms and absurdism is generally pretty good at breaking propaganda’s illusions.

I deleted a post of me in a frog suit with my 7-yr old daughter because a big account reposted, admonishing us for not being serious enough protestors (or something). I shouldn’t have included my daughter in the image, which was why I deleted it. But I was stunned by the condescension.

🧪Here’s a link to the original study. Note these findings have relevance both for therapeutic cancer treatments—impeding growth and metastasis of tumors—as well as for prevention (of pancreatic cancer, melanoma, and triple neg breast cancer, all notoriously horrible).
