"Even as we have progressed technologically" has me thinking of a conversation I had yesterday with a relative visiting from England. He said the people working customs at the US airport where he arrived were understaffed, rude, and lacking in the technology that speeds visitors through in the UK.

Maybe? But then that doesn't make a whole lot of sense either bc men want sex and don't want babies all the time. It's crazy (read: predatory and sadistic) to want to stop us from enjoying something while wanting to continue enjoying that thing with us themselves.

Which is so crazy to me. We're really societally pressured to not want something we're physically designed to enjoy. We legit have several relatively easily accessible pleasure buttons and no refractory period. Whoever put us together specifically wanted us to enjoy sex. Why make us not want it?

We ended up betraying many (most?) of the locals who helped us and leaving them in Afghanistan to dodge the Taliban. A friend of mine who worked for the US finally got visas for himself and his family...from Germany.
Afghans saved many American lives during the war. Way more troops are alive because of them than have been harmed by asylum-seekers. The potential reward of coming to the US was key to securing cooperation. Kicking everyone out will ensure no one helps again.

So I don’t agree that the men should even be more demonstrative unless we’re discussing in a way that other people can see. And even that is dangerous.

I do agree with the point that the man should be more demonstrative. Men have been conditioned and fed the notion to not show emotion and it comes out the other end as being cold and callous to someone you should be soft and warm with.
