I hope men understand that it is very very rare for anyone who is not a woman’s lover, close friend, or relative to stand up for her when another man insults her in a room of other men. It is incredibly unusual. They may not join in the bullying, but they’re unwilling to step in to stop it.

He’s been taken by ICE in Florida.

My personal “Don’t give to the Salvation Army” story:
When I was homeless in 2019, the Salvation Army shelter refused to give me a bed (even though they were available), because I was on immunosuppressant meds and they didn’t want to be responsible or liable if I got more sick or died on premises. They’d rather I die on the street.
It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

You want a frozen peppermint hot chocolate?
Warm, but do not boil, one cup of whole milk.
Add in two packets of Swiss Miss cocoa mix.
Stir.
Shave pieces of peppermint candy into cocoa.
Freeze drink for two hours.
