Shout-out to Go-Busters:
A show that gave one of its leads a jokey weakness, then gave us a significant bit of backstory about why he has that weakness. I especially love how Jin and Ryuji's faces go from "There's no way this can be real" to "Holy fuck" as the story is told.

As I realized yesterday: #Magi-Knights is set in Washington State in 1994. Bright Falls is also in Washington State. So it's entirely possible that Magi-Knights could attend an Old Gods of Asgard concert.

There's two reasons why I think Ex-aid wouldn't have been a good series to adapt for American audience.
1) It was just a short time before the pandemic.
2) A big name AAA developer leaving a FPS game in development hell for five years? Like that'd ever happen.
