Good journalists correct fake news rather then perpetuate it.
The trump administration tactic is to create a fake narrative to justify actions. They do this in all areas - Ukraine, trade, migration.....
Anyone who simply reproduces the fakes is helping the trump mafia.

Estonia has closed the Saatse border crossing with Russia due to an unusually large Russian military presence on the other side. The Estonian Police and Border Guard (PPA) noted increased patrols and military movements that were much higher than normal, which were deemed beyond routine activities.

One basic ask of a president is not to insult, without cause or analysis, other countries and their citizens. Connolly managed that in relation to Germany already. 'The skirt was too short' accusation against Ukraine did the same....

Somehow, but mistakenly, they thought that the US would still be a reliable supplier of arms. They would have done better fighting back. Everyone - russia, China the US - can see the EU will always back off. So they will keep pushing and keep getting.
