Pakistan is reporting 23 of its soldiers died during fighting thus far and that 200 Afghans have been killed.

The Taliban is reporting that at least 50 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 wounded during fighting last night. They also claim they captured a "significant" amount of weapons during fighting last night. All I have seen so far as evidence is a small pile of G-3's (6 to 10 guns).

Pakistani fighter jets continue to bomb Taliban targets in the Kandahar region. Since midnight last night, the Taliban has issued five ceasefire requests to Pakistan which have all been rejected!

Pakistani authorities release images of them striking Taliban military targets in Afghanistan. Taliban spokesmen are still reporting their "great victory" and don't seem in the mood for more fighting.

Per the source, "UA tracker Strategic Aviation of the RF", almost all RFAF Tu-95MS have been relocated to the far east.

Satellite images of the "Ukrainka" airfield in far eastern Amur region of RF from 20251012 @ 0556 UTC show 38 Tu-95MS, 7 Tu-160, 3 Il-78M, and 2 Il-20M.

The target of an AFU drone strike in occupied Donetsk is a super-store (like Costco) called "Sigma Hypermart." Maybe it is a reciprocal strike for the Russians targeting those types of stores in free Ukraine???

Social media chatter quoting Afghan MoD sources claims Afghanistan is now holding 12 Pakistanis as hostages (POWs?).

I still see them as terrorists so I will say they are hostages, which is what Pakistan will say, and you can say POWs if you want.

Afghanistan Ministry of Defense: The retaliatory attacks on Pakistani military centers ended at midnight and a strong response will be given.

They are holding at least 7 Pakistanis soldiers hostage (POWs?). The video shows Taliban crossing the border into Angur Ada in Pakistan.

More video of Afghan forces attacking Pakistani border guard facilities. There are reports they are advancing. Probably not for long but they have the momentum of surprise right now. It will probably all be over when enough "saving face" is accomplished so both sides can claim victory.

There are reports of fierce battles along the Afghanistan/Pakistan border. Columns of Taliban in US HMMWV's and armored cars are heading towards the border with sounds of gunfire in the background. Afghan media reports the Taliban Air Force stuck the city of Lahore on the Punjab border.

We discussed possibilities to strengthen our air defense and the agreements we are preparing regarding this. There are good options, strong ideas on how to really strengthen us. There needs to be a readiness from the Russians to participate in genuine diplomacy.

And if it is possible to stop the war in that region, surely other wars can be stopped as well, including this Russian war. Informed President Trump about the Russian strikes on our energy sector. Grateful for the willingness to support us.
