Charmingly irregular. People say I'm funny, but usually I just chat nonsense & hope for the best.
I write & edit gaming videos & retrospectives for @RetroHutch.com. I like cats.

New video! We all have our miserable little piles of secrets, according to Dracula. But what is The Secret of Shinobi? Herbal Essences? Maybe it's Maybelline? Nope. Turns out, it's a doggo! Here's my retrospective look at Shadow Dancer on the #Sega #MegaDrive.

Hi I wrote about the Sega Master System and how it’s been criminally overlooked because everyone goes on about the NES like it was the only 8bit console in the world look don’t get me started

Master System at 40: the truth about Sega’s most underrated console
Forty years ago, the Nintendo Entertainment System dominated the markets in Japan and the US. But in Europe, a technologically superior rival was making it look like an ancient relic

I just want to quickly apologise to Thomas Jones who died in the early 1900s. When I was 19, my emo girlfriend at the time sat on top of your gravestone in the local graveyard, spread her legs and successfully seduced me into giving her cunnilingus. Sorry about that, mate. RIP.

Hi! It’s my birthday. As a present to myself I’m going to do a thread of ways you can support my art. If you’ve ever enjoyed the nonsense I make, such as Moevember or the free fantasy epic comic “Legend of the Mole-man”, consider showing your support!

The very unfortunate passing of Rebecca Heineman has also lined up with other developments and findings involving her 3DO port of Doom.

So I’m making an update video because there’s enough for a whole video. I was originally planning on just a short!

I hope they used the same two topless men every time. I would watch an Edwardian Road movie about these two chaps, zigzagging the country by train, methodically but reluctantly measuring out 70 feet and then exposing their nipples to be sure.

I’m calling them Hedley and Chadwick.
In the UK, houses that back on to each other have to be at least 21 metres apart because of a 1902 law. This is all about protecting a woman's modesty.

This distance was decided by two topless men backing away from each other until they couldn't see each others nipples.

Anime vtuber skins are a fun, accessible/high privacy option for creators (also damn impressive technically). ZERO shade to anime vtubers.

My shade is that I don’t want using an avatar to be the *ONLY OPTION* for women in order to be seen/recognised by their peers within the industry.

I love when Zelda says the game's title

"To save Hyrule's future, we must find a Link to the Past."
"Can you smell it Link? The Breath of the Wild."
"Breakfast is grows cold! It is time for Link's Awakening."
"Oh no, I'm late for Link's Crossbow Training."
"Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosey Rupeeland."

After years working from home, I realised I could piss into a plastic tub during voice calls and nobody would notice. That's not the fess though. The fess is forgetting to empty it, and spending days working next to a tub of cold piss.

When I was in my 20s I was clubbing about 3 nights a week, going to the coolest venues, and getting out of my nut to nosebleed techno. Now I'm in my 50s and the two tunes that are guaranteed to get me on the dancefloor are B*Witched "C'est La Vie" and S Club 7 "Don't Stop Movin'"

The bloody opening scenes from SCARF JACK (1981), a brilliant but obscure ITV drama about the Irish Rebellion of 1798, with the Brits as the villains, and airing slap bang in the middle of the Troubles. Dead kids strewn everywhere at 4.45 in the afternoon - it was a kid's show!
