Ninja Princess (aka SEGA Ninja and The Ninja) is a really neat overhead run and gun style action game from Sega set in feudal Japan where (in the arcade original) you play as a kunoichi princess saving her people.
(Later versions made her the damsel in distress.)

#RandomGameSaturday? no problem! you're good to go with sega tetris on dreamcast! a fine version of tetris with a real good soundtrack and general vibe
although the stock dreamcast d-pad gets real uncomfortable real quick, so the fightstick is probably a much better control option

If this xbox played xbox games i would seriously consider getting one. Being able to have played my xbla games would have been fantastic on one of these not very portable machines. Titles like, daytona usa, guardian heroes, after burner, sega rally arcade etc would be so good. Nevermind.

The difference in sheer playability over prior consoles was huge. NES games felt responsive and controllable in a way that Atari, Coleco and Intellivision didn't.
Honorable mention to Sega... the SG-1000/Master System is also a fine system, but it didn't penetrate much here in the US.
