I think what this otherwise interesting (read: depressing) article fails to look at is the issue of consent when using AI to lie about who they are in order to sleep with people.

My theory is he was at a gross party and saw someone who didn’t want to be seen who now gives him everything he wants.

Although some people are skeevy from a distance/as a whole, but are scarily good at turning on the charm in the right setting to get their way.

Hugely agree. The combat and world design in this game is just so elevated from Tsushima. Every camp and location means something, gives you something more than genero skill points or loot. And throwing weapons is ALWAYS fun.
