Anime vtuber skins are a fun, accessible/high privacy option for creators (also damn impressive technically). ZERO shade to anime vtubers.

My shade is that I don’t want using an avatar to be the *ONLY OPTION* for women in order to be seen/recognised by their peers within the industry.

Zero against her 💜 vtubers are fun and great for people who don’t want to be on camera. It’s fab for accessibility too, and I def don’t think she SHOULDN’T be there.

I just find it sad that an on-screen woman has not been nominated (in the last three years!), and what that says about the industry.

I liked a video game remix of his, and listen to other artists under his GameChop label (I searched wondering why I got fed music with AI art). But turns out he has an entire AI-art animal band. Makes me wonder where else he has used AI or is okay with it :/
