It damaged judgment, risk assessment, and impulse control. Very obvious change just looking at traffic. Industrial, car, and plane accidents have all incresed since 2020
Post-Covid aggression is real, a lot of people just seem meaner and more aggressive since 2020. I know there are other factors, I believe effects from COVID infections are a big one.

We should ban selling of firewood in urban markets where wood fires are lit for ambience, not heat. Supermarkets sell firewood at supermarkets throughout LA. Denver banned wood burning except for old houses that lack other heat 50 years ago. So can LA.

I think a big thing I struggle with, and something that is an important thing for people of my generation to attempt to understand, is separating toxic nostalgia from knowledge of the actual ways in which American life has gotten appreciably worse in my lifetime
