I think the most. . . boiled down thought I've ever had about death came to me at 8 yrs old when I found out my cousin died.

At 8, all I could think was "I thought I would see her again."

And, I realize. . . that's really the whole thing.

When Black Messiah dropped, me & @lontier.blacksky.app stayed up for the release. I walked to the store at 11:45 to grab a bottle of brown because i just KNEW. D'Angelo does not have a bad album. Nor a bad song. And i will be speaking of him in the present tense for awhile because this fucking sucks

We might have listened three times back to back. Didn't care that we initially couldn't understand the lyrics. It FELT good. When we finally were able to to "hear" the words, my god what a beautiful piece of work. This one sucks sucks. Can't even say RIP D'Angelo because what is peace?
