Chelsea and very socially liberal politics, so basically you'll get angry at something.

95 years old, almost universally respected and with THAT body of work behind him, if you're going to go then go like Robert Duvall.

As Ronald Reagan said, "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the Government, and have you considered bobsleigh."
really enjoy that the bloke who won two golds on the luge is someone who was a national level taekwondo fighter until he got injured and then a government figure stepped out the shadows and said "let me tell you about project going down a hill really fast"

My favourite bit of these stories are when someone openly admits to breaking Spanish nationality law and being scared of being found out.

I have a very simple and straightforward two-step plan to Save The Video Game Industry:

Step 1: Globally eliminate the concept of a classed society and redistribute all surplus resources among the populace, permanently enshrining social ownership of the means of production.

Step 2: Ridge Racer 8.

While sudden cliff falls at Birling Gap (near my home town of Eastbourne) are no joke, I really love how much it looks like we’ve roused a grumpy, sleepy sea-wizard.

Lot of #ThePolitics people making this mistake but People's Postcode Lottery is very distinct from Pick My Postcode. Also it's not the lottery started by Dirty Desmond (which was my mistaken belief) - he did 'The Health Lottery'.
Erm, hate to be that guy but seen three people say this and feel that really should make clear that it's not People's Postcode Lottery, but Pick My Postcode that Find Out Now use for their sources. Link if you've suitably script-blocked your browser: findoutnow.co.uk/find-out-now...

Will has reminded me of when the local council did a multi year scheme to refresh the local roads with updated roundabouts and redoing surfaces. On the last one, that led to them resurfacing a 2 mile stretch of A road that acts as an important link road.
Poor budget rules meaning the cheaper surfacing is all that makes sense in any given year?

Love it when Richard Littlejohn (resident in Florida) shits out a column about working from home being bad.
One of my favourite things is when journalists attack people for never running a proper company, having a real job etc.
Given the amount of briefing against Miliband in the RW media, they must view him as a serious threat. No wonder The Times is praising McSweeney's political acumen, since he's managed to undermine Labour support and agitated for Miliband to be moved.

Alan Shearer, if referees and officials did their job correctly you would have served about two year's worth of suspensions throughout your career for blatant elbows and kicking Neil Lennon in the head. Being England captain had its perks didn't it?

The BBC commentary AND live text are whining about a goal that probably would have been disallowed under VAR standing because the FA cup does away with VAR in the early rounds. Not to mention the amount of whining they do about VAR when it is in use.

Thames Water spend around 30% of your bill on interest covering the debt mountain that was accumulated when it was looted under MacQuarrie a decade ago. That's just the will of the market.
Allowing for inflation the bill should be £539.44 but regulator and successive governments have allowed the water companies to loot consumers
