Imagine thinking pecan pie is the goat when there's steak and kidney.
imagine thinking pecan pie is the goat when pumpkin is right there
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

Just use a stellarator and those stabilisation issues go away; control problem is a lot easier.

*Okay, if the Trump Administration boots up fusion in a year and powers all those giant LLMs, I promise to stop whining and buy my own personal NVIDIA supercomputer

Go west young man.
This hex-map breaks down the share of 15-24 year-olds in Germany and the regional contrast is hard to miss.

Eastern Germany shows much lower shares except for larger cities, while many western and southern areas have noticeably more young people.

It would be my contention that the UK constitution doesn't actually allow for rights in the sense they're discussed elsewhere. /1
Re-upping this. Trying to explain rights to the median Brit is like trying to explain feminism to someone from the 16th century. The fundamental building blocks and frame of reference just aren't there
We are just, in many ways, a people that the 20th century didn’t happen to. We‘ve never really slid into overt tyranny, we haven’t faced a mainland invasion for over two centuries, and there hasn’t been a successful one for over three. There has been little soil for respect for rights to grow

Sure, American Pope sounds like a gritty 70s street movie, but turns out he's pretty conventionally Catholic after all.

They'll keep making Star Wars sequels until they finally make a good one.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Loving the implication that he tried telling the Board that the pizza market was saturated, and they responded by firing him for not loving pizza enough.

This fundamentally comes down to where one's own lines are as a commentator or as a politician. How closely are you, yes you, willing to work with a racist?
All the supposedly progressive people saying 'Nigel Farage's racism doesn't matter. His fans love it'.

It matters whether the leader of the party leading all the opinion polls is an outright racist. It matters if he called black people 'wogs' and said 'gas them' to Jews. Not everything is a game

In all this discourse everyone's forgetting to slip the Christmas Special in there above Rise of Skywalker.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

They raised $700m, a sum of money that Amazon could just have given them, and that almost certainly isn't enough to deliver the first of a kind SMR. I'm always bemused by the big noise made about investments which are neither particularly generous not enough to do the job.
Amazon’s X-energy closes one of the largest fundraisings by a reactor developer, as investors bet big on nuclear energy. It has signed deals to deliver almost 150 SMRs in the US and UK on.ft.com/49D7TpB @financialtimes.com
