Who robbed the Louvre? Right answers only.
I thought long form art would be pushed (as AI proves over and over it can’t handle it) but this is genius

Over the past few months I've heard from several writers who received email threats like the one below. None reported back that anything actually happened. Seems like just nasty trolling (unlike Goodreads extortion emails from a couple of years ago that did result in review-bombing)--but be aware.

I once thought streaming services were convenient and fair. they are not. I made a serious mistake. So I'm back to buying music. I hope that musicians have the means to sell direct on their websites. Their art is important to me and I want them to make a living from it.
this is why I stopped using spotify. I buy albums on Bandcamp fairly often. I love finding new music. I tune in to my university's radio station for shows that showcase genres I like, so I can find them on Bandcamp. If i decide I want a streaming service, it'll be Qobuz, probably.
“Average musician makes $12 a month on Spotify. The fact that they are not even able to sell a record and it’s taken from them by rich motherfuckers on streaming platforms who get paid royally by record labels,Ticketmaster, merch companies. They’re all fucking getting paid, except for the musician.”

Remember--just block. Don't respond. Don't quote-dunk. Don't screenshot. Just block and move on.

The joy of Bluesky's nuclear block is that the moment you tap that button they cease to exist on here for you. And (more importantly) you cease to exist for them.

Just block and move on.

Also remember: trolls make money off of your interactions. They monetize that shit. Block them and drive them into penury.
Block fascists. There's no reasoning or arguing with them, you might as well debate with spoiled leftovers. Don't let them bait you. Block fast, block often, block fascists. Let their accounts mummify.

In the slash fandom the misogyny can be so strong that men get hit with it. I’ve lost track of the m/m I’ve read where a man is treated narratively as a woman.
It would be hilarious if this fails too because AI uncanny valley/hallucinations kills the mood mid stroke.

Turns out that painting them isn't much easier than photographing them, but I'm pretty pleased with how this belted kingfisher turned out. #illustration #birds

This two-parter below is exactly why it's hard to make clothes in the United States.

Let's look at how much it costs to produce a button-up shirt in the US. 🧵

It’s a big “book boyfriend” thing as well. They replace and erase the FMC so they can have whatever toxic asshole is the hottie du jour. Can’t do that in third because it’s so clearly not the reader that’s narrating. The actual FMC and her role in the story doesn’t matter.

It’s also why so many VERY popular FMCs have little to no personality or interests or opinions. I really think it’s where the “unlikeable” FMC comes from a lot of times.
It is funny that one of the ways that the Bible shows Jesus as human is him being hangry.

Whenever someone uses Ghibli or Miyazaki as a synonym for "quaint, charming, unthreatening" I'm always like "bro did we watch the same movies?"
every ai bro who has reduced miyazaki to empty gentle aesthetic should no exaggeration get the judas cradle bc this man's markmaking & passion about telling WAR STORIES
That sounds like a circle of hell.

People say, "Taylor Swift just writes breakup songs," and
A. it's not close to true
B. it would be FINE if it were true! This has been one of the major themes in songwriting and poetry FOREVER.

People like to claim that autistics are bad at communicating and like, my dude, the problem does not lie with us, it lies with the web of manipulation and lies and passive aggression and ulterior agendas that you weave around yourselves instead of just doing what we do, which is saying what we mean.
