The Dunnock may be a common bird but it’s still very beautiful when you look closely at its feathers. Here’s my portrait of one in watercolour from my #1000postcards artwork, depicting the biodiversity of my land, 700ish done so far & still so many waiting to be painted

A few of the moths that live on my land. Taken from my #1000postcards artwork; depicting what biodiversity looks like when land is managed predominantly for nature. Painted in watercolour & displayed in a way that echos museum specimen cabinets. Butterflies of the night

My first ever attempt at making jewellery. A flat sheet of copper beaten into a 3d usable hollow cauldron. Legs and rings filed and soldered into place. Now a handle must be made before the charms that will tell a magic story can be created.

No it’s from a twig of one of the trees on our farm /nature reserve. So outside, it’s their natural habitat. They live amongst the lichen and fern that grow on the trees, temperate rainforest. Birds , mice etc eat them

Those little snails are part of the ecosystem so they’ll be staying

Get ready to see the smallest tiniest snails I’ve ever found. There are three babies and a mummy snail just wondering about about amongst the lichen on this twig I picked up. It’s a little bit of paradise saved from getting crushed by a car on our farm track. Who needs to go on Safari 😂

That “someone” is me. I filmed this painting, which I painted with my phone in my studio.
I produce my own electricity in a renewable way and export the excess to the grid. Your comment is sad, negative and uninformed. I did wonder why you are so negative. Maybe you’re sad ? What’s wrong?

I just noticed there’s a bit of a conversation going on between the Staffordshire hound and Baba the Elephant on my dresser this morning. I wonder what secrets are being shared.

A ringed plover and her chick to lift my mood and that of anyone else who’s feeling a little low this week.

I went #Chough hunting with a new friend, to the Deer Park, on the #Pembrokeshire coastal path today. We got lucky with many sightings of my all time favourite bird. So here’s a #painting of mine to mark the occasion. What a fantastic day!!!
