Yup, I was there a couple weeks ago and snapped a few photos at the window
They have a window-service location at 276 Stagg. Not quite a standard Hale and Hearty, but one nonetheless: maps.app.goo.gl/6eVouKEStMLS...

In Kiss of Death news, Musk has endorsed Cuomo for New York City mayor.

“Remember, a vote for Curtis is basically a vote for Mumdumi, whatever his name is.”

Confused/conflicted about the ballot proposals? You're not alone!

Check out our voter guide for explainers and why our members voted to endorse YES on 2-6 (we didn't take a position on 1).

Apparently the opponents of this have retained the same attorney who is representing the opponents of 31st Ave safety project in Queens. If you support this, contact the Community Board 6 — [email protected] — and CM Shahana Hanif's office — (718) 499-1090 — and let them know.
The new street design for Court Street in Brooklyn, where I live, continues to be finished. Today, painting new lane. It’s GREAT!

✅ no more speeders
✅ car & bike traffic moves smoothly
✅ bikes in lane, not intermixed into cars & vice versa
✅ no double parkers
✅ looks nicer

Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

a big reason companies are caving this hard is that they're banking on hunkering down for the next 3.5 years and then coasting by when the dust settles

Democrats need to make it very clear that there will be future consequences for defecting in this prisoner's dilemma

Becoming increasingly clear we’re gonna have to build a parallel infrastructure for all the media we really love. The reason all of this is happening under the color of law is hyperconsolidation, dissent being traded straight up for merger approval, or fear of harassment.

fascism maintains power by making everyone too scared to fight back but the truth is there's only a few of them and most of the stuff they're threatening is logistically impossibly at scale. they'll make examples and count on that to cow the rest. Not fighting back is the only way to lose though.

If you haven't gotten your updated COVID vaccine by now, book an appointment fast before next week's ACIP meeting. After that, you might not be able to get one. I plan on getting mine this weekend if I possibly can. arstechnica.com/health/2025/...

It’s gonna be so weird watching establishment dems be performatively sadder about this than they were about the colleague and her husband and dog who got shot and killed

"they are going to use this against us."

where you been, they are murdering black people in the streets for selling CDs, they are rounding up hispanic people for being at a home depot, they are sending people to foreign torture prisons for tweeting about Palestine.

The terrain is SHIFTED

no offends if this is you but if you're thinking "this is going to make the right do fascism" they're already there. they blew up a boat with 11 people on it for being immigrants. they're kidnapping US citizens and trying to rendition them to Uganda. do you think we're on a trajectory to peace

got home from getting groceries and a woman walked past as i was unloading and i said to her “charlie kirk got shot.”

she stopped walking, turned and went “I KNOW,” then showed me her group chat where she & her friends were just talking about it and “everyone is reacting with laugh emojis”

This is the line that Dems need to push. It can't be simply. "Political violence is bad" it MUST be "Political violence is bad and Trump and his ilk are responsible for creating conditions ripe for political violence"
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) on the shooting of Charlie Kirk:

"Political violence, unfortunately, has ramped up in this country ... I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country. I think the president's rhetoric often foments it."
Reposted by Joe Frazier
political violence is happening in America literally every single day, round the clock, at scale, but nobody ever says "political violence has absolutely no place in our country" until a white right wing guy gets shot.

Regardless of your feelings on the shooting, there's no doubt that Trump didn't need it to continue enacting mass political violence against the civilian population.

Political violence is committed every day against protestors, immigrants, and trans people, and they rarely get any justice.
I'm genuinely confused at so much of my feed being filled with "Don't celebrate Charlie Kirk being shot **because** this gives Trump the go ahead to violently crush opposition." Did you mean to add "faster" to the end of that sentence? Like, he wasn't waiting for an impetus. It's happening already

Hearing lots of success stories from people able to get COVID vaccines from CVS MinuteClinics, even if most other pharmacies in their state are restricting access. Please give it a try if you are having difficulty accessing COVID vaccines in your state!
For people in a state that is asking for a prescription, try a CVS MinuteClinic.

Some MinuteClinic’s are getting around restrictions by having nurses on site who will give you a prescription during a visit. They ask to confirm if you are high risk but don’t ask for proof.
