Not a sign of seasoning anywhere to be seen. The turkey is so overcooked, it literally falls to shreds on being carved. And what is with the full roasting pan of unseasoned dry macaroni noodles? The green beans are unseasoned…not even butter. The mashed potatoes are dry enough to use as spackle.

It radically changed the way I viewed narrative storytelling.

- This isn't an LLM that did this, and there's nothing "AI" about it. This is another use for visual recognition algorithms, and this tech has been used for decades in IFF systems for jet fighters.
- Unless something has changed, false positives are still astronomically high.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about this.
I also have noticed I read a lot less. I watch a lot fewer movies. I don't watch TV at all.
But I DO engage with interactive media a lot more. I play more games. Engage with more interactive fiction.
I don't have an answer. And it IS troubling.

An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.
