Im talking about the effectiveness of their weaponization of hyper/unreality, not about the basic appeal of their mvmt which goes all the way back to 1492 and which was, by my estimation, actually more popular and more broad based 2015-2020 than now

Im genuinely not saying that people's politics are becoming more regressive because of memory loss. I'm not making an argument about why they won the election or saying their support base is mostly brain damaged ppl. I'm talking about the effectiveness of their particular media and disinfo tactics

I'm definitely not talking about "smarts" in a broad sense, and definitely not saying it makws people into fascists. But their media/ action strategy relies on their previous actions being forgotten, and literally losing memory aids them regardless of your ethical and political perspective
