Any FinTwit refugees have good recommendations for how to invest going forward if securities regulations won’t be enforced and federal spending is going to be primarily directed towards friends of the kleptocracy?
Obvious answer: the two pro-kleptocracy stocks (on a tear), but I can’t support them.

I’d say that deploying the troops to peaceful cities really matters, and they’ve been using clowns for that— but it doesn’t matter because SCOTUS is likely to formalize Trump’s dictatorial powers anyway.

It would be nice if the competition for “least competent member of the Trump administration” wasn’t so fierce, but it might be the primary thing standing between us and failed democracy, so I guess it’s a blessing as well as a curse.

That’s why I think he’s sincere. If he wasn’t desperate to stay alive, why abuse his son? He could just buy blood from some other young dude, like Thiel does, and claim it’s the fountain of youth.

Definitely a possibility. My grandmother was increasingly depressed each year after about 90 as everyone she’d known from her youth passed on…not very whimsical though. 😛

I also thought a power struggle ending in 1:1 mortal combat between two men obsessed with living forever was quite whimsical.

But I don’t claim to know anything about the online betting market TOS— I would think/hope any wager about how/when someone dies should be off limits.
