The vanquishing of Military.com.
Former staffers say a new owner dealt the respected publication a death blow when service members and veterans needed it most.

How and when exactly did a president acquire the authority to rule in all matters great and small by diktat?
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks.

They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

I’ve been saying this since last December and constantly am accused of being a groupie or something.
Not to defend Olivia Nuzzi, who broke every rule in journalism and promoted a charlatan to his current position. But it's incredibly telling that she will lose her job, but RFK Jr. gets to stay in his job despite the reports of his drug use, his affairs and his defenestrating of public health.

How is U.S. military killing these 11 people keeping drugs (fentanyl) out of the United States?

USG knew the drugs (cocaine) were headed to Suriname.

Yes, that's the OTHER DIRECTION.

Not clear if this is meant to be retrospective or prospective. I think Bessent said prospective. Also note that the law says each member of Fed board of governors is supposed to come from a different Fed district

Trump's grotesque insults targeting immigrants (and his administration's recent and historic xenophobia) prompted comparisons to 1930s German propaganda. As you might expect, his allies reject the comparison. So I asked historians how valid it was.

Hassett: "The way to think about what AI & its agents can do is they can act as if they're the best coach you've ever had. And so while you're trying to figure out, how do I make my boss happy? It's like you've got a coach right there with you every step of the way."

I used to have to teach the NSS: What's in it, what it means, how it was produced.
In this administration, documents mean nothing. Our national policy is whatever stray voltage is crossing Donald Trump's brain pan at any given moment. The NSS and other such documents are meaningless.
The Trump administration has quietly released its National Security Strategy — apparently late on Thursday. Usually there's a rollout and fanfare for these things: www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/u...
